After a six-month stint as a SMartBe Advisor, Aurelia joined the SMartEu team. Her experience in communications and international relations led her to her current position.

Julek Jurowicz
Managing Director - Founder of SMartBe
Julek founded SMartBe in 1998, together with fellow Managing Director Pierre Burnotte. Once SMartBe’s success was established, Julek followed the only logical way to go: Europe – in order to answer to a growing need for simplified international mobility.

Leen Scholiers
Co-ordinator SMartEU
Leen has been with SMartBe for several years now, and brings with her a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the tools and services offered. She became co-ordinator in January 2012 and leads the team’s projects.

Pierre-Martin Huts
Project Officer
Pierre-Martin had already worked in several of SMartBe’s services when he decided to join the International Development effort. He brings to SMartEU a long experience with SMartBe and a strong legal background.

Sarah de Heusch
Project Officer
Sarah started her SMart adventure at the Research Unit and has since joined the SMartEU team, where she mainly works on advocacy and consolidating SMartEU’s network memberships.

Sergio Giorgi
Project Officer
Sergio is the latest addition to the SMartEu team. His experience in project management within microcredit and international institutions will help him develop the EMIS (European legal database) and work on European funding applications.
